Through fundraising efforts, the Rotary Club of Aransas Pass matched a Foundation grant to donate three replacement computer routers for the Ed and Hazel Richmond Public Library.
Districts must become qualified in order to receive grant funding from The Rotary Foundation.
To be qualified to apply for matching grants, at least one member of the club has to attend grant management training. In this case, Assistant District Governor Meg Reese and Club President Mia Rios were able to receive training and apply for a matching grant.
The Rotary Club Foundation matches $1 for every $1 from the District Designated Fund. Sponsors must complete a Matching Grant Application and submit it to TRF.
