Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

First, I want to begin by recognizing our local and international communities for coming together to help support disaster relief efforts. Families were impacted by the extreme weather in different ways. The rebuilding has been in process and is far from being over. Because of this, I ask that we continue to give to Rotary District 5930’s Disaster Relief Program. You can learn more on the ways the program has helped our brothers and sisters by visiting and reading the content on this website. You can also get updates and photos on our district’s Facebook Page. Together, our giving can help us make a stronger impact with rebuilding. We are a District United.

In addition, I ask for help by liking, following, and sharing the Rotary District 5930 Facebook Page on personal, business, and club pages. Also, it is very important to share the Rotary District Website on social media platforms and through email by sending the web link to contacts.

Since, I am on the topic of websites and improving Rotary presence, I would like share an easier way to check the “health” of our Rotary Clubs’ web presence. It’s called a Rotary Web Report Card. I want to give credit to fellow District 5790 Rotarian, John Pokorny for giving me the resource at a district training in Austin, Texas. Also, to our District Governor Betty Ramirez-Lara for reminding me of the crucial tool. Governor Betty would like all clubs to have websites and social media platforms and use them to improve presence and engagement. Click to read the Rotary Web Report Card.

I encourage Rotarians and friends to contact our District leadership and fellow clubs to connect, learn, and take action. This will help enhance club experience, increase visibility, and createloads of fun! Most importantly, a strong Rotary visibility within our communities can help build trust. This can help Rotarians have a greater impact with service projects, disaster relief, and more. Rotarians are PEOPLE Of ACTION. You can connect with me via email, text, or on social media.
