On October 31, 2023, the Rotary Club of Aransas Pass enjoyed participating in the Character Walk hosted by Faulk Elementary.
Shanda and Mia fully dressed for Halloween and Karen emphasized Rotary. For about 1-1/2 hours we three along with many other civic organizations and supportive individuals handed out candy to well over 500 Halloween Costumed students. We were impressed with the overwhelming number of “thank you’s” we heard as we dropped candy in each student’s bag. Our station was at the end of the line and we were entertained by the students trying to lift and carry their personal bags full of candy. It was a well-organized, fun event for our Club and we look forward to participating again next year.
