Rotary District 5930 proudly celebrated the outstanding talent of our student speakers at this year’s Four-Way Test Speech Contest. A total of 11 contestants advanced to the District level, each delivering thoughtful and inspiring speeches that reflected a deep understanding of the Four-Way Test and its values.
We are pleased to announce this year’s top three finalists:
1st Place – Daniela Varela Junior, Sacred Heart Catholic High School Sponsored by the Victoria Rotary Club Award: $1,500 scholarship
2nd Place – Rayyan Farooqui Senior, IDEA Brownsville College Prep High School Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville Award: $1,000 scholarship
3rd Place – Keon Torres Senior, Freer High School Sponsored by the Alice Rotary Club Award: $750 scholarship
