Film Screening: The Story of Plastic
In celebration of World Environmental Health Day, the Rotaract Club of TAMIU invites Rotary, Rotaractors, Interactors and community members to a film screening this coming Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00PM at the Texas A&M International University Fine and Performing Arts Theater - 5201 University Boulevard, Laredo, Texas.
The Story of Plastic is a searing expose, uncovering the ugly truth behind plastic pollution and the false solution of plastic recycling. This film presents a timeline of how we got to our current global plastic pollution crisis.
After the screening, a panel of local and state activists will provide an overview of what's being done to fight back and will deliver a call to action to all of those in attendance.
