Honor Inspiring Women

International Women’s Day is 8 March, and we’re celebrating the women who embody Rotary’s vision and take action to create lasting change in the world.

Rotary’s leaders are committed to women’s equality, and their dedication helps us bring about a more diverse and inclusive world.

Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta has focused on empowering girls by improving their health, education, well-being, and economic security. President-elect Jennifer Jones — who will make history as the first woman to serve as Rotary’s president — has challenged us to imagine what’s possible when empowered girls become empowered women.

You can celebrate International Women’s Day and honor an inspiring woman in your life with a gift to The Rotary Foundation.
It’s easy: As you’re making your donation online, select the fund you’d like to support and then choose the option indicating that you want to honor someone. Add their name and decide if you’d like to notify them. If so, you can email the notification or print it to give to them.
