| Project Summary | Please join several clubs from Rotary District 4130 in a Rotary Global Matching Grant. As Rotarians, we are concerned about mental health issues for adolescents in Mexico. We would value District 5930 joining 9 clubs from Northeast Mexico. three primary components. TransformArte will impact positively through a deliberate outreach strategy in the following cities in Northeast Mexico: Matamoros, Reynosa, Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey, SLP, Ciudad Victoria and Tampico. The three components of the project are: First, and most importantly, we will offer a suite of services focused on prevention of mental health issues for adolescence and Rotarians. For example, we will coordinate with a group of innovative psychologists to prepare workshops, training events, emergency hotlines and mentoring programs. Second, driven by the Rotary objective of spreading the good word of our organization, we will launch an aggressive public outreach program emphasizing messages of mental health prevention and available resources. Third, the TransformArte collection will physically travel to eight cities in Northeast Mexico in an effort to raise awareness, promote messages of mental health prevention and the benefits of Rotary. The TransformArte Collection is a communication strategy that will raise awareness, obtain funding and promote the good name of Rotary. |
