Celebrate World Interact Week from November 4 to 10!

Each year, we celebrate World Interact Week from Monday through Sunday, during the week on November 5 we celebrate the founding of the first Interact club in 1962. This is a special time to recognize Interact’s legacy and inspire youth to continue making a difference! Here are a few ways to celebrate:
1. Virtual Event or Social Media Live Stream: Host an online event to share stories from current and past Interactors who have continued their commitment to service.
2. Social Media Campaign on “What Interact Means to Me”: Encourage members to post photos or stories about how Interact has impacted them, using hashtags like #WorldInteractWeek2024 and #ServiceAboveSelf to celebrate and spread awareness.
3. Interact Day of Gratitude (Mid-Week): Dedicate a day for Interactors to express gratitude by writing thank-you notes to mentors, teachers, and community leaders, or recording video messages to acknowledge their support.
4. Public Recognition and Engagement: Work with schools to make daily announcements, sharing Interact’s mission and accomplishments with the student body.
5. Feature Interact on Rotary’s Social Media Channels: Highlight Interact’s history, achievements, and ongoing projects with daily posts. Recognize members who live by the motto “Service Above Self.”
6. Community Banner Project: Create a banner showcasing Interact’s mission and contributions to the community. Display it at a school or community center to inspire new members and show Interact’s positive impact.
Let’s honor and uplift the next generation of leaders and changemakers. Together, we’re making a difference!
