Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education are basic necessities for a healthy environment and a productive life.
When people have access to clean water and sanitation, waterborne diseases decrease, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers can spend less time carrying water and more time helping their families.
On February 23rd, we marked Rotary’s 120th birthday—a remarkable milestone in our journey of service and impact! It was truly heartwarming to witness so many clubs and communities honoring this legacy with proclamations, celebrations, and acts of service.
A special shout-out to the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi for their Magical Mural, a breathtaking tribute that brings the spirit of Rotary to life through art! This mural is more than just paint on a wall—it’s a symbol of hope, service, and the power of Rotary to transform lives. Fuel the Flame, End Polio! – The "Torch of Dreams Challenge":
As the Rotary Torch travels across our district, it carries the magic of service and the power of dreams—the dream of a polio-free world. With two extraordinary pilots flying in for our conference to raise funds for PolioPlus, this is the perfect moment to turn our dreams into action! Each club is challenged to donate at least $10 per member to PolioPlus before passing the torch. This simple yet powerful act will bring us one step closer to making Rotary’s dream of eradicating polio a reality!
